Bookkeeper|Great Missenden|Part time

PART TIME – £15K – £20K DOE – contracted at 22 hours per week spread over 3-week days. (flexible on shift patterns to accommodate the right candidate)

My client is a supplier of high quality construction materials based in Great Missenden, looking for a part time Bookkeeper to support the accounts function, on a part time basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • SAGE Line 50 Accounts, data capture, invoice, income, receipts and payment processing
  • Expenditure and income statements
  • bank reconciliation, procurement payment
  • Completing VAT returns
  • Business accounts accuracy verification, reporting errors
  • Recording any inconsistencies to help the accountants reconcile inaccuracies
  • Monthly Financial reports including cash flow, profit, loss and balance sheets
  • Delinquent accounts and aged receivables reconciliation
  • Managing employee expense claims
  • Helping the accountant in preparing yearly accounts
  • Day-to-day systems support and issue resolution

Experience:

  • Previous experience of working in accounts/bookkeeping
  • Proven experience of the office based finance function
  • Extremely proficient in Sage 50
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook and PowerPoint
